Part 
Description
A part is a technically specified, non-separable piece that is manufactured according to a specific work plan. There can be technical drawings for parts. In FACTON, you can enter the corresponding drawing number in the Details view.
Parts can be organized hierarchically to form a sub-assembly or assembly. The relationship between parts and assemblies is described in bills of material (BoM's).

You can find the basic properties of the
Toggle View Schema
- Click in the view schema combobox to the top right of a view.
- Click on the desired view schema.
All view schemes for the selected view are shown.
This switches the view schema.
Alternative: Click on one of the icons right next to the combobox to activate the respective view schema.
The »Overview« view schema summarizes all available view schemes for the selected calculation or calculation element in groups. This schema is only available via the combobox.

Valuation
Via the valuation you can set the calculation mode, i.e. the level of detail you wish to have in your cost calculation. You can choose between the following valuations:
Further Information ► Valuation

Using this valuation, the costs are caused by embedded sub-elements. The costs of the sub-elements are aggregated in the superordinate calculation element to provide you with an exact cost calculation.
Manufacturing Valuation
Select a cost model that has been created in the FACTON EPC Cost Model Designer.

In this valuation you can directly enter estimation costs to the calculation elements to detect cost indicators early on and quickly create a rough should cost calculation.
