Comparison Criteria
Unless specified otherwise during FACTON configuration, the "Inventory number" is used as a comparison criterion for machines.
Supported link types
The import supports the assignment of work steps, origins, cost centers, activity types, processes and shift models.
Import groups
The specification of an import group for machines is optional.
Special features of imports
For shift models: If you have defined additional calculation parameters in the system settings for shift models, they will be exported as well.
The hourly machine rate in FACTON can either be set manually or calculated based on different values. The "Manual/Calculated" FACTON field enables you to set the selection.
For manufacturing/ setup cost rate: The rates are hourly rates with the total value and the variable portion. The total value and the variable portion are set using the "Value total" and "Value variable" fields.
The currency unit should always be the same for both rates. You can also enter a time unit for the manufacturing or setup cost rates in order to import minute rates. In FACTON, time is always converted to the hourly value.
Before you open one of the machines to be imported - whose machine hourly rate you wish to calculate - in Data Administration, you must assign each of these machines a shift model in Data Administration.
Otherwise the Data Administration's internal logic will reset the machine to the use of a manual machine rate.
