Comparison Criteria

Unless specified otherwise during FACTON configuration, the "Process key" is used as a comparison criterion for the additional costs.

Supported link types

The additional costs import does currently not support links.

Import groups

The specification of an import group for additional costs is optional.

Special features of imports

The process cost rates are hourly rates with the total value and the variable portion. The total value and the variable portion are set using the "Value total" and "Value variable" fields.

You can also enter a time unit for the process costs in order to import minute rates. In FACTON, time is always converted to the hourly value.

Additional costs are differentiated in FACTON according to their cost and allocation type. FACTON supports the following form types in its standard scope of delivery:

Additional cost and allocation types can be defined during the customizing process.

In order to correctly assign a cost or allocation type to an additional cost during import, a column of the Excel file must be assigned to the "Cost type" and "Allocation type" data field. Then, the matching FACTON cost and allocation type must be assigned to each value that contains this column in the Excel file.

To do this, double-click in the "Excel Import (Additional Cost)" dialog inside the "Cost Type" or "Allocation Type" row on the filter symbol . The "Assign Cost Types" or "Assign Allocation Types" dialog opens. Cost and allocation types are assigned the same way as Excel columns are assigned in the main window of the Excel import.

For more information, see Assign Object Types.
