Customs Duties
In this interface you can:
- administer the settings for country groups or customs tariff number required for the custom duties calculation.
- activate and deactivate customs duties calculation and the display of customs duties in FACTON in general.

"Activate customs duties" checkbox:

All entries prior to deactivating the customs duties remain valid.
If the option is deactivated later on, the customs duties are still calculated when being used.
"Country Groups" table:
In the table, you can administer system-wide country groups. The country groups define economic areas with specifically defined customs agreements.
- "Name [multilingual]" column:
Shows the country group name. You can edit it directly. You can enter this name in multiple languages.
- "Abbreviation" column:
Shows the abbreviation for the country group. You can edit it directly. With this abbreviation, each country group is uniquely identified.
"Customs tariff numbers" table:
In the table, you can administer system-wide customs tariff numbers. The customs tariff numbers are classifications the custom duty rate is determined from.
- "Customs Tariff Numbers" column:
Shows the customs tariff numbers. You can edit it directly. With this code, each good nomenclature is uniquely identified.
- "Name [multilingual]" column:
Shows the customs tariff name. You can edit it directly. You can enter this name in multiple languages.
- "Description [multilingual]" column:
Shows the description of the customs tariff number. You can edit it directly. You can enter this description in multiple languages.
The country groups and customs tariff numbers can be deleted. The country groups or customs tariff numbers that were used before the deletion, keep their validity but cannot be selected and used again.
