Parts

In this category the purchased and standard parts are administered. You can define:

  • Master data properties, such as multilingual names, material ID's, inventory numbers, etc.
  • Dynamic data, such as prices, quantities, etc.
  • Basic material assignments for calculating the material surcharge
  • Customs tariff numbers and origin country groups at the price row for customs duties calculation

Prices can be defined and used with a temporal validity Prices can be differentiated and differed or switched in the project via the price origin (supplier, customers, locations). The flexible value determination can react on missing prices. Inflation of purchased part prices is possible.

You can import purchased and standard parts via Excel import.

Create purchased or standard parts

  1. Right-click on the category Purchased/Standard parts ► New ► Purchased/Standard part group.

    A new purchased or standard part group is created under the selected category/group.

  2. Change the default name in the "Name" entry field.
  3. Enter an ID in the "Inventory number" entry field.
  4. Switch to the "Special" tab.
  5. Click in the row with the star in the top table.

    A new purchased or standard part is created.

  6. Click in the row with the star in the bottom "Prices" table.

    A new price row is created.

  7. Enter all required values.
  8. Click Apply.

    The data are saved in Data Administration.
