Manage images

You can manage images for master data in the table on group level (folder). Access it via the "Picture" button.

Requirements

To ensure that the "Picture" column and the picture preview are visible in Data Administration and in the project, you must activate the save images for the respective calculation element feature in the system settings under the category Data Administration.

Display images

  1. Select a group in the category.
  2. Switch to the "Special" tab.
  3. Select an element in the top table.
  4. Move your cursor over the "Picture" column of the selected row.

    A button is shown.

  5. Click on the button.

    The Image Preview window with the picture opens.

Edit images

  1. Select a group in the category.
  2. Switch to the "Special" tab.
  3. Select an element in the top table.
  4. Move your cursor over the "Picture" column of the selected row.

    A button is shown.

  5. Click on the button.

    The Image Preview window with the picture opens.

  6. Click Change.

    The Open dialog opens.

  7. Select an image file.
  8. Confirm your selection with Open.

    The image is displayed in the Image Preview window.

Remove images

  1. Select a group in the category.
  2. Switch to the "Special" tab.
  3. Select an element in the top table.
  4. Move your cursor over the "Picture" column of the selected row.

    A button is shown.

  5. Click on the button.

    The Image Preview window with the picture opens.

  6. Click on Delete.

    The image is deleted.
