Attach Files and Hyperlinks

Attach Files

• You are logged in as a Calculator.
• You are in the Calculations workspace.
• You have opened a calculation. see Search and Open Calculation

1. In the Structure view, select the calculation element you want to attach a file to.

   The properties of the element are shown in the Details view.

2. In the Details ► General Properties view schema (combobox), click on the button (next to the Value column) at the property Attachments.

   The Local List: Attachments tab opens.

3. Right-click in the empty area ► New.

   A new row is inserted.

Alternative: Steps 1-3:

1. In the Structure view, select the calculation element you want to attach a file to.
2. Right-click on the calculation element ► Local Lists ► Attachments.

   The Local List: Attachments tab opens.

4. Click on the arrow ► New in the Document column.

   The dialog for selecting the attachment opens.

5. Select the file you want to upload.
6. Click Open.

   The file is attached to the project element.

Attach Hyperlinks

• You are logged in as a Calculator.
• You are in the Calculations workspace.
• You have selected and opened a calculation.see Search and Open Calculation

1. In the Structure view, select the calculation element you want to attach a hyperlink to.

   The properties of the element are shown in the Details view.

2. In the Details ► General Properties view schema (combobox), click on the button (next to the Value column) at the property References.

   The Local List: References tab opens.

3. Right-click in the empty area ► New.

   A new row is inserted.

Alternative: Steps 1-3:

1. In the Structure view, select the calculation element you want to attach a hyperlink to.
2. Right-click on the calculation element Local List ► References.

   The Local List: References tab opens.

4. Add your hyperlink to the Link column.

   The hyperlink is attached to the calculation element.
