Calculate Solid Profile

This quantity valuation lets you carry out the material quantity calculation for solid profiles, e. g. the remaining profile length at the start and at the end of the profile, so that it needn't be calculated and documented outside FACTON.

The following example shows the use of a material quantity calculation:

Step 2: Insert a Material (Mass)

By selecting the Calculate Solid Profile quantity valuation and a corresponding geometric shape at the material, a more extended calculation logic becomes available.

Insert a Local Material (Mass)

  1. Select the should cost calculation in the Structure view.
  2. Click on Edit ► Insert ► Insert New Local Material (Mass).

    A local material is added under the should cost calculation.

  3. In the Details ► Calculation view schema (combobox) select the Calculate Solid Profile quantity valuation.
