Create Cost Estimate (Valuation: Estimate Costs ∼)

The calculation structure is built based on the bill of material. In the cost estimation, you can add costs in the Estimate Costs valuation to the calculation elements to detect cost indicators early on and quickly create a rough should cost calculation.

Note

In Estimate Costs valuation, it is not possible to add further calculation elements to specify your calculation structure. Generally, sub-elements are not considered in the calculation. These sub-elements are grayed-out, since they are inactive. Use the cost calculation for this purpose. Closed(see Create Cost Calculation (Valuation: *Aggregate Costs Σ))

*Aggregate Costs valuation is set by default for the following calculation elements that you insert into the structure for the first time:

  • Should Cost Calculation
  • Assembly
  • Part
  • Process
  • Setup Process

For these elements, you can additionally set the Estimate Costs valuation to insert estimation costs in the Details ► Calculation view schema (combobox).
