Create Overhead Rate Calculation

To start a calculation for the overhead rates of cost centers, you must create an Overhead Rate Calculation for your product and define the properties that present the framework conditions for a precise cost calculation.

  1. Create an Overhead Cost Calculation for »Motor Shaft«.

    2. Create Overhead Rate Calculation

    • You are logged in as a Calculator.
    • You are in the Calculations workspace.
    1. Click on Manage in the ribbon.
    2. Select the overhead rate calculation.

      The created calculation opens in a new tab.

      You are the owner of the calculation that was created.

    3. Select »FACTON« as data origin in the Details ► Data Origins.

      The required dimensions for determining the value rules are displayed.

    4. Define the following properties for the calculation in the Details view:

      Industrial Sector Manufacture of metal products
      Production Location World » Europe » Germany
      Reference Company Plant Revenue 100m EUR
      Reference Company Material Share 50%
      Reference Company Degree of Automation Medium
      Location Factors
      Holidays 11 d / a
      Miscellaneous Non-Business Days 2 d / a
