Labor Rate Calculation (Valuation: Calculate Cost Rate in Detail)
In this method of labor rate calculation, you use an integrated calculation of the fringe cost rate to reflect the fringe costs in detail. To do this, use the valuation Calculate Cost Rate in Detail.
For maintained master data you can either use company-owned data or FACTON Benchmark data. Depending on the calculation context, the following values are determined by the value rules:

The labor rate is not calculated until you have entered a basic wage for the worker in the Details view ► Labor Rate Calculation. Shift premiums, fringe cost, weekend premiums and performance bonuses are added to this basic wage, depending on the location, industrial sector and referenced calculation year.
Labor Rate Calculation with fringe cost rate calculation (Valuation: Calculate Cost Rate in Detail)
- You are logged in as a Calculator.
- You are in the Calculations workspace.
- You are in the Structure view.
- Select the
Worker or
Setup Worker you wish to manually enter the labor cost rate for.
The Details view opens on the right side.
- In the Details ► Calculation view schema (combobox) select the »Calculate Cost Rate in Detail« valuation.
- Select a Labor Group.
If respective master data are maintained, the labor costs are calculated. A detailed labor rate calculation breakdown can be found in the Details ► Calculation view schema (combobox).
