"Annual Attributes" Dialog

The "Annual Attributes" dialog is based on the "Attributes" dialog and essentially summarizes all validity-based attributes.

Validity-bases attributes (annual attributes)

In addition to usual attributes, annual attributes can be used here at individual object levels in the project depending on validity periods, for example as quantity values per fiscal year. The values can either be defined generally for all years in the "Value" column, or be entered individually for each year by activating the "Use validities" checkbox.

Annual attributes at purchased and standard parts in the context of tiered prices

At purchased/standard part level, the "Annual Attributes" dialog displays the order quantities required for the tiered price determination in addition to the project and part quantities, thus allowing the precise calculation of purchased/standard part prices depending on the price breaks in the respective validity period.

Like all attributes, you can edit annual attributes or attribute groups in the system settings for individual project objects (see chapters Attributes and Attribute Groups). Here you can also define default values for individual attributes.

Dialog elements and menu interactions of the annual attributes window correspond to those of the conventional attributes window, see "Attributes" dialog.

  • Attribute colors

The different colors tell you whether the attribute:

    • was created user-specifically or as standard attribute in the Attributes.
    • Is a mandatory attribute and its value must be filled in.

    Color Description
    White

The attribute was created as user-defined. Its content can be edited or deleted.

    Gray

The attribute was created in the system settings (standard attribute). Only the value can be edited.

    Yellow

The attribute was created in the system settings as mandatory attribute. A value needs to be entered (depending on the data type and unless already provided by a default value).

Attributes can be defined in the system settings.
