"Production Planning" category

Here you can edit the properties of the production planning across multiple projects. In the table you can show or edit project data of multi and/or individual projects at the same time. Different columns are shown in the table, depending on the selected view.

  • "Fiscal years" selection

    In comparison to the other views, the columns "Fiscal Year" and "Sales Price FY" are also shown in the table.

  • "Calendar years" selection

    In comparison to the other views, the columns "Calendar Year" and "Sales Price FY" are also shown in the table.

  • "Months" selection

    In comparison to the other views, the columns "Month" and "Quantity" are also shown in the table. The "Ø Return [%]" column is not available in this view.

  • "Custom" selection

    Only in this view you can show or hide columns using the Column Chooser.

 

Column	Description

Start of investment	Enter the month and the year in which the investment begins.
Months of Investment	Enter the number of years in which you wish to invest.
Start of Production	Enter the month and the year in which the calculation begins.
Months of Production	Enter the number of months to be included in the calculation.
Calendar Year	Shows the calendar year the properties of the table row are valid for.
Quantity Calendar Year	Specifies the quantity to be calculated for the corresponding calendar year without deductions.
Fiscal Year	Shows the fiscal year the properties of the table row are valid for.
Gross Quantity	Shows the quantity to be calculated for the corresponding year without deductions.
Deduction [%]	Specifies discounts for the gross number of pieces for the relevant year.
Quantity Fiscal Year	Specifies the quantity to be calculated for the corresponding fiscal year without deductions.
Month	Enter the month and year the settings in a table row apply to.
Quantity Month	Specifies the quantity to be calculated for the corresponding month without deductions.
Distribution FY	Shows the monthly distribution of the quantity for the corresponding fiscal year as percentage.
Distribution CY	Shows the monthly distribution of the quantity for the corresponding calendar year as percentage.
Total Quantity	Enter the quantity of the whole production period with deductions.
Number of Lots	Specifies the number of lots to be calculated for the corresponding year.
Purchased Lot Size	Specifies the purchased lot size for tiered prices to be calculated for the corresponding year. Requirements The tiered prices are activated (see system settings - "Enable tiered pricing for purchased and standard parts" checkbox).
Location (Basis Data)	Enter the production location. All location origins of the “Locations” category in Data Administration are displayed if at least one basic data record is added.
Receiving Country Group	Select the origin country group for each fiscal year.
Basis Data	Select the basic data record that defines the standard surcharge rates for a calculation year. All basic data records under the category "Basic data" in the Data Administration are displayed if at least one location is added. The selection is determined by the selection in the "Location (Basic Data)" column.
Customer	Display the origin of the costing type of the type customer.
Supplier	Display the origin of the costing type of the type supplier.
Location (Costing Type)	Display the origin of the costing type of the type location.
Basis Data - Origin	Displays the combination of location (basic data) and basic data entry.

The user can adjust the production and investment periods of the projects highlighted in the table.
