"Cost Center" calculation mode 
Cost Center calculation mode is generally used for calculating processes that contain cost centers. This mode is similar to "Basic" calculation mode or "Advanced" calculation mode .
Cost rates for each activity type are defined in Data Administration, and are automatically pre-allocated.
In cases where an activity type was recorded in a cost center with different validities, the cost rates to be applied will be determined automatically for the calculation year.

Assign "Cost Center" calculation mode
- Highlight the element in the project structure you wish to assign Cost Center mode to.

In the ribbon, click on Start > Set Mode
> Cost Center
.
The "Cost Center" dialog opens.
The dialog displays a separate group for each activity type of the cost center. The name of a group corresponds to the name of the relevant activity type.
- For each group, enter the time required for the relevant activity type.
- Confirm your entries with OK.
