Machine

The machine data are taken over from Data Administration. The hour rate is imputed independent from Data Administration.

When a machine from Data Administration is added, the machine hour rate costs (acquisition costs and consumption costs) are always calculated in the project from the year of acquisition - even for the years following depreciation. If you want the machine hour rate for the current calculation year to be calculated in the project, you must add the machine to the project as a project-specific machine.

Assign a Machine

  • Assign a process to the routing.
  1. Right-click on the process you wish to add the machine to.

  2. In the ribbon, click on Start ► Insert Component ("Edit" group) ► Machine. The Machine Assignment dialog opens.

    Alternative: Alternatively, you can open the dialog via the context menu in the project structure.

    • In the project structure, right-click on a process ► New ► Machine.
  3. Select a machine in the "Available Machines“ or "Inventory Number“ list.
    Note

    Activate the "Project specific" checkbox and the machine is inserted as a project-specific machine.

    When inserting a machine from FACTON Content, the "Project specific" checkbox is automatically activated, because FACTON Content machines cannot include any costs.

  4. Click Paste. The machine is added under the process.
  5. Repeat the steps to assign all other machines.
  6. Confirm your entries with OK. The project-specific machines are added to the project.
