Work steps

Work steps can be used for the specification of manufacturing processes in the project. Work steps are calculated via the "Special" calculation mode at a manufacturing process. Thus, individual work steps are assigned to the machine or employee. You can define which work steps run in sync (machine time equals employee time) and which run independently. Subsequently, the manufacturing times are aggregated via the work steps.

Create work steps

  1. Right-click on the category Work Steps ► New ► Work step.

    A new work step is added under the selected category/group.

  2. Change the default name of the new work step in the "Name" entry field.
  3. Enter an ID in the "Classifier" entry field.
  4. Define all properties, values and assignments in the following tabs.
  5. Click Apply.

    The data are saved in Data Administration.
