Administer Master Data
All calculation-relevant information and elements you can use in a project are saved in Data Administration. The elements can be directly taken from Data Administration into the project. Changes of the master data can be synchronized with the project later on.
Master data can be organized in own folder structures. Access rights on the elements and folders can be managed in the Rights Administration. You can manually create the master data or import existing data via the standard Excel import.
If you wish to use master data import connections of third systems such as ERP and PLM systems, please contact your FACTON consultant. The interfaces can be defined customer-specifically.
You can manage master data in a validity-based context, i.e. create and display data according to time period. This applies to the location, shift model and machine data and the associated calculation parameters. Activate validities in the "Settings" dialog, "Attributes - Data Administration" group.
In order to create, assign and edit master data in Data Administration, you need full control access rights in the Rights Administration.
