Create Element in the Selection List

Open the selection list in which you wish to create a new element.
Open Selection List
- You are logged in as SC Master Data Administrator.
- You are in the Master Data workspace.
In the Explorer > Selections Lists, click on the category
- Confidence Level,
- Supplier,
- Commodity Group,
- Tool Classification,
- Fixture Classification,
- Business Unit,
- Purpose,
- Industrial Sector,
- Location,
- Labor Group, or
- Target Achievement Indicator.
The Selection List : <Category> tab opens.

Create a new element in the selection list.
Create Elements
- In the selection list, select an element under which you wish to add a new element.
- Right-click on the element >
New.
A new row is created.

Enter values for the properties of the element in the selection list.

In the selection list, click in an input field (with a black triangle ◣) and enter a value.
The new value appears in the entry field.

When creating or editing elements, you can decide whether you want to maintain the label in one or more languages.

If you have created a new element in a selection lists (e.g. a new location) and wish to have this element available in your value rules (e.g. for wages) or master data (e.g. at a machine), you need to update the selection lists.
