Update Selection Lists

If you have created a new element in a selection lists (e.g. a new location) and wish to have this element available in your value rules (e.g. for wages) or master data (e.g. at a machine), you need to update the selection lists.

 

Update Selection Lists

  • You are logged in as SC Master Data Administrator.
  • You are in the Master Data workspace.
  1. In the Explorer > Queries click on before "SC outdated Master Data" to expand the group.

  2. Click on "Global Properties" or "Global Resources" to run the query.

    The result list contains all global data or global resources that are using outdated selection lists (see "Has Outdated Selection List" column).

  3. Selectively choose the global data you wish to update.

    Alternative: Press CTRL + A to select all global data.

  4. Right-click on Update > Selection Lists.

    The global properties have been updated. The checkboxes in the "Has Outdated Configuration" column are deactivated.
