Show Object-Dependent Value Rules
Object-dependent value rules are value rules that are managed directly at the global template of the master data. You can display the object-dependent value rules in four ways:
- Master Data workspace in Explorer ► Master Data ► <Master Data>
- Calculations workspace in Explorer ► Master Data ► <Master Data>
- Calculations workspace, directly in the calculation via Edit ► Insert ► <Calculation element>
- Calculations workspace, directly in the calculation via Used Objects ► <Calculation element>

- You are in the Master Data workspace or the Calculations workspace.

Run the query for the global template you are searching for.
Run Query on Master Data
- In the Explorer ► Queries, click on ► in front of SC Master Data.
You can run queries for the following master data:
- Company-Own Content
- Company-Own Machines
- Company-Own Machines grouped by Machine Type
- Company-Own Materials
- Company-Own Materials grouped by Material Classification
- Commercial Measures
- Fixtures
- Manufacturing Cells
- Special Direct Cost
- Technical Measures
- Tools
- Work Steps
- FACTON Benchmark
- FACTON Benchmark Machines
- FACTON Benchmark Machines grouped by machine type
- FACTON Benchmark Materials
- FACTON Benchmark Content Materials grouped by Material Classification
- Company-Own Content
- Click on master data whose global template you are looking for.
A new »Query : <Master Data>« tab opens where you can set query parameters.
- Define your query parameters.
- Click the Run button to run the query.
All elements found for the selected master data are displayed in the Result view.
- In the Explorer ► Queries, click on ► in front of SC Master Data.
- In the Result view, select the global template whose value rules you want to show.
- Right-click on the selected global template ► Value Rules.
Another shortcut menu opens with a selection of the corresponding value rules tables.
- Click on the selection whose value rules you want to display.
A new tab with the value rule table for the selected property opens.
