Configuration Name
The configuration name (_MetadataSnapshotName) tells you which configuration version is used by your calculation/master data.
In FACTON you can use the configuration in different versions. Changes, such as further improvements or defect corrections to the calculation logic or to the FACTON system itself, will result in a new version of the configuration. FACTON ensures that changes to a configuration have no effect on the existing costing logic and calculation elements.
The configuration update is necessary if you still require or use the calculations or master data.
You can selectively decide whether you want to update your existing configuration for your calculations or master data. Updating the configuration of an existing calculation has no effect on versions or links.
You can identify which configuration version your calculation or master data has by the »Configuration Name« property in the Details ► Information at the respective element.
