Quantity Units

All factors of the SI system of units are mapped in FACTON. The basic configuration contains SI units from which all other units can be derived:

• SI base factor length
• SI base factor time
• SI base factor electric current
• SI base factor temperature
• SI base factor molarity
• SI base factor luminous intensity

Conversion of Units

Units can automatically be converted into another unit of the same (phys.) factor. In addition to derived units, such as volume and force, you can also define dimensionless units:

• Piece
• Percent
• Lot
