Run Query

You can use predefined queries to search for existing master data or calculations. Predefined parameters for efficient searches are available in the queries.

By executing queries, you can search for calculations and master data to work with them, as well as quickly find specific data by filtering for specific parameters.

You are in the:

Calculations Workspace

In the Calculations workspace, you can use the explorer to access queries for calculations and master data.

Run Query on Calculations

  1. In the Explorer ► Queries, click on ► in front of SC Calculations.

    You can run queries for the following calculation groups:

    • Overhead Rate Calculations - CSW - Ordered by Label
    • Overhead Rate Calculations - CSW - Ordered by Modification Date
    • Overhead Rate Calculations - Versions
    • Should Cost Calculations - CSW - Ordered by Label
    • Should Cost Calculations - CSW - Ordered by Modification Date
    • Should Cost Calculations - Versions
    • Should Cost Calculations - Versions - Exportable
  2. Click on a calculation group whose calculation you are searching.

    A new »Query: <Calculation>« tab opens where you can set query parameters.

  3. Define your query parameters.
  4. Click the Run button to run the query.

    All calculations found for the selected calculation group are displayed in the Result view.

Run Query on Master Data

  1. In the Explorer ► Queries, click on ► in front of SC Master Data.

    You can run queries for the following master data:

    • Company-Own Content
      • Company-Own Machines
      • Company-Own Machines grouped by Machine Type
      • Company-Own Materials
      • Company-Own Materials grouped by Material Classification
      • Commercial Measures
      • Fixtures
      • Manufacturing Cells
      • Special Direct Cost
      • Technical Measures
      • Tools
      • Work Steps
    • FACTON Benchmark
      • FACTON Benchmark Machines
      • FACTON Benchmark Machines grouped by machine type
      • FACTON Benchmark Materials
      • FACTON Benchmark Content Materials grouped by Material Classification
  2. Click on master data whose global template you are looking for.

    A new »Query : <Master Data>« tab opens where you can set query parameters.

  3. Define your query parameters.
  4. Click the Run button to run the query.

    All elements found for the selected master data are displayed in the Result view.

Master Data Workspace

In the Master Data workspace, you can use the explorer to access queries for master data only.
