Successors for Calculations
You can define a successor for a calculation. A successor is immediately effective as soon as it has been published and the FACTON client restarted.

Predecessor Calculation
- The predecessor calculation shows you whether the calculation has a successor (see Show Successor for Calculation)
- In the predecessor calculation, you can open the successor calculation (see Open Successor)
- In the predecessor calculation, you can assign the successor calculation (see Assign Successor)
- In the predecessor calculation, you can remove the successor calculation (see Remove Successor)
Successor Calculation
- You need the successor calculation to assign the calculation to the successor (see Assign Successor)

Note
Whether your calculation has a successor is shown in the Details ► Information ► Has Successor view of the predecessor calculation.
Show Successor for Calculation
- You are logged in as Calculator.
- You are in the Calculations workspace.
- In the Structure view, select the predecessor calculation.
In the Details ► Information ► Has Successor view, the active checkbox shows you that the calculation has a successor.
Alternative:
- In the Result view, select the predecessor calculation.
In the Details ► Information ► Has Successor view, the active checkbox shows you that the calculation has a successor.
