Assign Successor

You can assign a successor to a calculation at two places in the Calculations workspace:

Assign Successor in the Structure View

Assign Successor

  • You are logged in as Calculator.
  • You are in the Calculations workspace.
  1. Open the successor calculation in a new tab.Closed See Search and Open Calculation
  2. In the Structure view, select the successor calculation that you wish to assign as a successor.
  3. Right-click on the successor calculation ► Copy.
  4. Open the predecessor calculation in a new tab.Closed See Search and Open Calculation
  5. In the Structure view, select the predecessor calculation to which you want to assign the successor.
  6. Right-click on the predecessor calculation ► Paste Special ► Paste as Successor.

    The predecessor calculation has been assigned a successor calculation.

  • You are logged in as Calculator.
  • You are in the Calculations workspace.
  1. Run a query to search for the successor calculation.Closed

    Run Query on Calculations

    1. In the Explorer ► Queries, click on button in front of SC calculations.

      You can run queries for the following calculation groups:

    2. Click on a calculation group whose calculation you are looking for.

      A new »Query : <Calculation>« tab opens where you can set query parameters.

    3. Set any query parameters.
    4. Click the Run button to run the query.

      All calculations found for the selected calculation group are displayed in the Result view.
  2. In the Result view, select the successor calculation that you wish to assign as a successor.
  3. Right-click on the successor calculation ► Copy.
  4. In the Result view, select the predecessor calculation to which you want to assign the successor.
  5. Right-click on the predecessor calculation ► Paste Special ► Paste as Successor.

    The predecessor calculation has been assigned a successor calculation.
