Specify Processes

In this section, additional calculation elements required to calculate the costs will be inserted into and specified within the inserted processes for the »Motor Shaft«.

1. In the Structure view, select »Setup Process - Turning«.
2. Insert the Machine from the FACTON Content with the label »6-spindle bar automatic | Rotation speed: 530.00 - 3,325.00 1/min | Turning diameter: < 42.00 mm« (Auto ID: 727) from the master data. Insert Global Calculation Element
3. In the Structure view, select »Setup Process - Turning«.
4. In the ribbon, click on Edit ► Insert ► Setup Operator to insert a setup operator.
5. In the Details view, assign the following properties to the setup operator:

   General
   Number of Workers	2
   Labor Group	Educated employee/experienced
   Tie Up Rate at Process	50%
   Comments, Attachments, Links
   Comment	Fitter

Specify Process »Washing«

1. In the Structure view, select »Washing«.
2. Insert the Machine with the label »Ultrasonic washing machine | Tub size: 55.00 l« (Auto Increment ID: 382) from the master data. Insert Global Calculation Element
3. In the Details view, override the purchase value ( 10,000 EUR) of the machine. Override Input Boxes
4. In the Structure view, select »Washing«.
5. In the ribbon, click on Edit ► Insert ► Worker to insert a worker.
6. In the Details view, assign the following properties to the worker:

   General
   Number of Workers	1
   Labor Group	Trained employee/experienced
   Personal Allowance Rate	55%
   Comments, Attachments, Links
   Comment	Machine Operator

7. In the Structure view, select »Washing«.
8. In the ribbon, click on Edit ► Insert ► Insert New Local Technical Measure (Cycle) to insert a local technical measure.
9. In the Details view, assign the following properties to the technical measure:

Specify Process »Hardening«

1. In the Structure view, select »Hardening«.
2. In the ribbon, click on Edit ► Insert ► Insert New Local Machine to insert a local machine.
3. In the Details view, assign the following properties to the machine:

   Label	Oven | max. Load Weight: 550 kg
   Acquisition Cost
   Purchase Value	190,000 EUR
   Installation Cost	22,800 EUR

1. In the Structure view, select »Setup Process - Grinding«.

3. In the Details view, override the purchase value ( 600,000 EUR) of the machine. Override Input Boxes
4. In the Structure view, select »Setup Process - Grinding«.
5. In the ribbon, click on Edit ► Insert ► Setup Operator to insert a setup operator.
6. In the Details view, assign the following properties to the setup operator:

   General
   Number of Workers	1
   Labor Group	Educated employee/experienced

Specify »Process - Grinding«

1. In the Structure view, select »Process - Grinding«.
2. Insert the same Machine as in the »Setup Process - Grinding« as Link to reuse the machine.
   

   Reuse Global Calculation Elements Multiple Times

   • You are logged in as Calculator.
   • You are in the Calculations workspace.
   • You have opened a calculation. See Search and Open Calculation
   • You are in the Structure view.

   1. In the Structure view, select the global calculation element you wish to reuse.
   2. Click in the first empty field in front of the calculation element and drag & drop it
      1. while pressing ALT to insert the global calculation element again as Link (see Insert Global Calculation Element).

         The mouse cursor displays the following icon:

      2. CTRL to insert the global calculation element again as Copy.

         The mouse cursor displays the following icon:

3. In the Structure view, select »Process - Grinding«.
4. In the ribbon, click on Edit ► Insert ► Insert New Local Fixture to insert a local fixture.
5. In the Details view, assign the following properties to the fixture:

   General
   Label	Clamping Device
   Is Specific Equipment
   Acquisition Cost
   Purchase Value	1,600 EUR
   Incidental Acquisition Cost	160 EUR
   Number of Fixtures
   Equipment is used over Production Lifetime
   Operating Life	350,000 cycle

6. In the Structure view, select »Process - Grinding«.
7. In the ribbon, click on Edit ► Insert ► Insert New Local Tool to insert a local tool.
8. In the Details view, assign the following properties to the tool:

   General
   Label	Grinding Wheel (CBN)
   Is Specific Equipment
   Acquisition Cost
   Purchase Value	7,800 EUR
   Number of Tools
   Equipment is used over Production Lifetime
   Operating Life	200,000 cycle

9. In the Structure view, select »Process - Grinding«.
10. In the ribbon, click on Edit ► Insert ► Worker to insert a worker.
11. In the Details view, assign the following properties to the worker:

1. In the Structure view, select Process »Washing & Preserve«.
2. Insert the same Machine as in the process »Washing« as Link to reuse the machine.

   Acquisition Cost

5. In the ribbon, click on Edit ► Insert ► Worker to insert a worker.

Specify Process »Packaging & Goods Leaving Inspection«

1. In the Structure view, select Process »Packaging & Goods Leaving Inspection«.
2. Insert the Machine with the label »Packaging | investment: 2.70 T€« (Auto Increment ID: 9) from the master data.
   Insert Global Calculation Element
3. In the Structure view, select Process »Packaging & Goods Leaving Inspection«.
4. In the ribbon, click on Edit ► Insert ► Worker to insert a worker.
5. In the Details view, assign the following properties to the worker:

9. In the Structure view, select Process »Packaging & Goods Leaving Inspection«.
10. In the ribbon, click on Edit ► Insert ► Insert New Local Special Direct Cost to insert a local special direct cost.
11. In the Details view, assign the following properties to the special direct cost:

    Label	SEK - For Internal Transport
    Number per Units	325
