Licenses

FACTON contains the following licenses:

  • Core licenses

    Core licenses grant basic rights to functions. These rights cannot be modified by the user. The FACTON core licenses are divided into different packages:

    • EPC Basic
    • EPC Standard
    • EPC Professional
  • Licenses for add-on modules
  • Licenses for component

The following add-on modules and components are not included in any of the license packages and must be purchased separately from the core license packages.

  • EPC Technology Platform (Component)
  • EPC Web Reporting Platform (Component)
  • Programs and Take Rates (Component)
  • Sustainable Product Costing (Component) for calculating product-related emissions

Display licenses in use

You can have an overview of the number of currently available licenses at any time. You can also see which user is utilizing which license at which workstation.

  1. In the ribbon, click on File > Information > Information about FACTON (Link).

    2. The "Information about FACTON" dialog opens.

  2. Click on the link "Module".

    The "Used Licenses" dialog opens.

    The dialog provides an overview of the licenses currently in use and who is using them.
