Additional costs 
Additional costs are additional process costs related to manufacturing. The costs are not included in the manufacturing of a component, but are assigned to the component by creating allocations. For example for:
- Development and engineering
- Testing methods
- Prototyping
- Packaging costs
- Administration costs
Additional costs can be allocated to external cost objects using a specified key.
The FACTON settings allow you to choose whether to calculate additional costs on parts and/or operations.
Additional costs can only be created, linked and edited in Data Administration.
