Analyze and evaluate a project

Reports in FACTON

FACTON offers reports to facilitate the analysis and evaluation of FACTON functions, projects and master data.

Every report is based on a FACTON report template. A template consists of a header and a detail area.

This means that all reports are standardized and share a uniform structure.

For an overview of the report templates, see the Report System dialog. You can use this system to create, edit and delete report templates.

Requirements

Users require the "Full authorization" right to manage report templates.

Note

New or modified reports via the CustomTool ► Extras are available in the command overview of the ribbon menu configuration after restarting the client. Restoring the factory settings is no longer necessary.

It is not relevant whether the "Execute Report" command itself is being renamed or used at another position. However, changes in the CustomTool are not considered if a report is being renamed or used outside the "Execute Report" command.

CSV Export

The "Liststyle CSV export" allows you to save project structure data as a CSV file that you can edit in Excel. All of the costing data for the selected calculation element, including all of the expanded sub-elements, are exported.

  1. Click on Data ► CSV Export ("Export" group). The Select File Name and Folder dialog opens.
  2. Select a location to save the CSV file and enter a name for it.
  3. Confirm your entries with OK.
