Database Synchronization for Dynamic Data

The database synchronization for dynamic data applies to the properties of purchased parts, raw materials, cost center rates and exchange rates that are dependent on validities in Data Administration.

The process monitors changes to data in the following categories:

  • Purchased part prices
  • Raw materials
  • Cost Center rates
  • Exchange rates

Perform Database Synchronization for Dynamic Data

  • The affected projects are open.
  1. Open the database synchronization dialog.
  2. Click in the Dynamic Data button. This displays the Database Synchronization for Dynamic Data Dialog.
  3. In the Category combobox, select the category whose database you wish to synchronize.
  4. Optionally: Activate the "Show only changed entries" checkbox.
  5. Click on the Detect Variations button. Either all of the entries or only the changes in the selected category are displayed.
  6. Activate the checkboxes in the Check column for the elements you wish to synchronize.
  7. Click OK or Apply. The data in Data Administration are synchronized with the data in the project.
