Consistency Rule Violations View

The Consistency Rule Violations view displays the grouped consistency rule violations that occurred in the calculation.

Show and Hide Consistency Rule Violations view

Show or hide the Consistency Rule Violations view

  1. In the ribbon, click on the View tab.
  2. Activate or deactivate the "Consistency Rule Violations" checkbox in the Show/Hide group to show and hide the Consistency Rule Violations view.

    Alternative:

    CTRL + 7

Overview of Consistency Rule Violations

The Consistency Rule Violations view provides an overview of the consistency rule violations for each type above the table.

The overview shows you:

  • Errors: <Number of consistency rule violations of type Error>
  • Warnings: <Number of consistency rule violations of type Warning>
  • Info's: <Number of consistency rule violations of type Info>

"Name" column

The "Name" column displays the different types of consistency rule violations in a grouped form.

"Description column

The "Description" column displays the description (i.e. the text) of the consistency rule.

Show Cause of Consistency Rule Violation

Show Cause of Consistency Rule Violation

  1. Click on the next to the Used Objects view.
  2. Click on Consistency Rule Violations in the selection field.

    The Consistency Rule Violation view opens.

  3. Select a calculation element in the Consistency Rule Violation view of which you want to see the reason for the violation.
  4. Right-click on the calculation element > Go to Causing Element.

    The respective calculation element with the consistency rule violation is shown in the Structure view.

  5. Resolve the consistency rule violation in the Details view.
