Delete Successor
You can remove the successor in the Master Data workspace in two ways:
A successor that has already been synchronized in the calculation still remains after deleting the successor relationship in the calculation.
Delete Successor in the Structure view
Remove Successor
- You are logged in as SC Master Data Administrator.
- You are in the Master Data workspace.

In the Structure view, select the predecessor global template whose successor you wish to remove.

Right-click on the predecessor global template > Remove Successor.
The successor of the predecessor global template was removed. When the context menu is opened again, the menu item Remove Successor is grayed-out.

- You are logged in as SC Master Data Administrator.
- You are in the Master Data workspace.

Search the predecessor global template.
Search Global Template
- You are logged in as SC Master Data Administrator.
- You are in the Master Data workspace.
Run Query on Master Data

In the Explorer > Queries, click on ► in front of SC Master Data.

Click on master data whose global template you are looking for.
A new "Query : <Master Data>" tab opens where you can set query parameters.
- Define your query parameters.

Click the
Run button to run the query.
All elements found for the selected master data are displayed in the Result view.

In the Result view, select the predecessor global template whose successor you wish to remove.

Right-click on the predecessor global template > Remove Successor.
The successor of the predecessor global template was removed. When the context menu is opened again, the menu item Remove Successor is grayed-out.
