Manufacturing Cell

Description

A (flexible) manufacturing cell is an automated manufacturing machine with an own material flow supply and removal, surrounded by a safety fence. The processing of the workpieces only takes place at one machine and the work pieces are forwarded from the workpiece storage to the machine in fully automated mode.

In FACTON, you can merge machines and their peripheries with the help of the manufacturing cell to get an overview of the machine costs and machine cost rates. The cost-relevant properties of the embedded machine are summed up in the manufacturing cell. Thus, the acquisition costs, installation costs and the machine cost rate of the manufacturing cell can be automatically determined on the basis of the machines they contain.

Note

The label of the manufacturing cell is automatically adopted from the first embedded machine under this manufacturing cell.
