Update Global Properties

You update the global properties via the should cost calculation (top/root element in the calculation structure).

Update Global Properties

  • You are logged in as a Calculator.
  • You are in the Calculations workspace.
  • Global properties are available for synchronization. You can identify this by the Symbols of Comparable Changes.

  1. Open Calculation

    You can open the calculation using the following options:

    1. Right-click on a calculation > Open in New Tab.

    2. Double-click in the very first empty field of the calculation you wish to open.

    3. Use the keyboard shortcut CTRL + SHIFT ⇧ + O.

      4. The calculation opens in a tab.

  2. Right-click on the calculation > Update > Global Properties > All Global Properties.

  3. In the sub-menu, select whether you want to synchronize all global properties or just individual ones.

    Master data synchronization is carried out and the global properties are updated.
