Analyze and Evaluate

To obtain a summary of your should cost calculation, materials or technical descriptions you can export the following calculation reports or a comparison report for your calculation (or a specific calculation element) or export it as an Excel, PDF or Word file in FACTON.

Reporting in FACTON:

  • Integrated reporting for the cost structure analysis
  • Convenient export feature to Excel, PDF or Word
  • Standard Microsoft technology

Calculation Report: Bill of Materials

This report provides you with a summary on the cover page with general data and key figures on the should cost calculation, an overview of the BoM including costs (current material situation) at calculation level or for the selected calculation element along with key figures on the materials used and production.

Create Report: Bill of Material

  1. In the Structure view, select the Should Cost Calculation or a specific calculation element.
  2. In the ribbon, click on Reporting > Bill of Material.

    The Report: Bill of Material tab opens.

BoM Structure

The BoM report has four pages:

Page 1: General Information On The Should Cost Calculation and Cost Summary (Cover Page)

Page 2 of the report for Should Cost Calculation level: Bill of Material of the calculation incl. costs

Page 2 of the report for specific calculation element: Bill of Material of the calculation element (with sub-elements) incl. costs and Key Figures of the calculation

Page 3 of the report for Should Cost Calculation level: Material summary of the calculation

Page 3 of the report for specific calculation element: Material summary of the calculation element

Page 4 of the report for Should Cost Calculation level: Production summary of the calculation

Page 4 of the report for specific calculation element: Production summary of the calculation element

Calculation Report: Calculation Summary

This report allows you to present all of the costs of your calculation as a table or graph and receive an overview of the following calculation aspects:

  • How are the production costs and calculated costs of a product put together?
  • What statements can be made about target achievement?
  • What share do certain cost types have in other cost types?
  • Which additional information (attachments and links) were saved in the calculation?

Create Report: Calculation Summary

  1. In the Structure view, select the Should Cost Calculation.
  2. In the ribbon, click on Reporting > Calculation Summary.

    The Report: Calculation Summary tab opens.

Page 1: General Information On The Should Cost Calculation and Cost Summary (Cover Page)

Page 2: Cost Diagrams and a List of Costs

Page 3: Comments, Attachments and Links

Calculation Report: Material List

This report gives you a summary featuring general data and key figures on the should calculation along with a material list grouped by material type.

Create Report: Material List

  1. In the Structure view, select the Should Cost Calculation.
  2. In the ribbon, click on Reporting > Material List.

    The Report: Material List tab opens.

The Material List report has one page:

Calculation Report: Technical Description

This report gives you a summary featuring general data and key figures on the should calculation along with a list with technical of all of the project elements used.

Create Report: Technical Description

  1. In the Structure view, select the Should Cost Calculation.
  2. In the ribbon, click on Reporting > Technical Description.

    The Report: Technical Description tab opens.

Technical Description Structure

The Technical Description report has one page:

Comparison Report: Calculation Comparison Overview

This report gives you a summary featuring all of the should cost calculation data.

  1. In the Structure view, select the Should Cost Calculation.
  2. In the ribbon, click on Reporting > Calculation Comparison Overview.

    The Report: Calculation Comparison Overview tab opens.

Calculation Comparison Structure - Summary

The Calculation Comparison - Summary report has one page:
