Copy Global Templates

Copy Global Template

• You are logged in as SC Master Data Administrator.
• You are in the Master Data workspace.

1. Run a query to find the global template you wish to copy.

   Run Query on Master Data

   1. In the Explorer > Queries, click on ► in front of SC Master Data.

      You can run queries for the following master data:

      • Company-Own Content
        • Company-Own Machines
        • Company-Own Machines Grouped by Machine Type
        • Company-Own Materials
        • Company-Own Materials Grouped by Material Classification
        • Commercial Measures
        • Fixtures
        • Manufacturing Cells
        • Special Direct Cost
        • Technical Measures
        • Tools
        • Work Steps
      • FACTON Benchmark
        • FACTON Benchmark Machines
        • FACTON Benchmark Machines grouped by machine type
        • FACTON Benchmark Materials
        • FACTON Benchmark Content Materials grouped by Material Classification
   2. Click on master data whose global template you are looking for.

      A new "Query : <Master Data>" tab opens where you can set query parameters.

   3. Define your query parameters.
   4. Click the Run button to run the query.

      All elements found for the selected master data are displayed in the Result view.

2. Select the global template you wish to copy from the results list.
3. Right-click on the global template > Copy.

   The global template is copied to the clipboard.
