Relevant Quantity
The relevant quantity (Rel. Qty.) represents a procurement quantity (relevant for costs and calculation).
The relevant quantity is the quantity and cost related connection between two elements. The quantity states how much one element needs/consumes from the other element. The relevant quantity is always entered in a physical unit.
Relevant Quantity = Quantity of the embedded element per quantity of the consuming element.
20MnCr5 has a relevant quantity of "0,16 kg/pc", i.e. 0.16 kg of the material "20MnCr5" is required per 1 Piece (pc) of the Part "Motor Shaft".
