Direct Material Cost

The direct material costs (DMatC) can be assigned to a project directly. The calculation of these costs depends on the Material type and the Procurement Type.

The direct material costs are calculated by the:

Direct material costs are shown in the Details > Cost Summary view schema (combobox) and the Key Figures > Production Cost - Detailed view schema (combobox).

Hint

When hovering the mouse over the abbreviated costs in the Key Figures view, a tooltip shows their full name.

Material type and procurement type

Both the Material type and the Procurement Type can be chosen for the material in the following views:

in the Details > "General Properties" view schema
in the Structure > "Production Cost - Detailed" view schema when navigating to the material level (see Level Navigation)
in the Used Objects > "Material" view schema
