Technical Measure
Description
Technical measures are part of the FACTON measure management and can be defined for materials and processes.
Further Information ► Measure Management
At the technical measures, you can define various information, such as
- the person responsible for the measure,
- the implementation time horizon of the measure,
- the implementation level of the measure,
- the time the measure becomes effective, and
- the value of the measure.
Frequently recurring commercial measures can be centrally specified and managed in the Master Data workspace.
Examples
- Staff training for processes, handling valuable materials
- Optimization of processes, product construction
- Recycle scrap

Quantity Types
Technical measures can be inserted under the following quantity types:
- Area
- Length
- Lot
- Mass
- Piece
- Volume
- Cycle
The quantity type of the material and the technical measure must be identical.
Example: You can only add a technical measure (lot) under a
setup process with quantity type »Lot«.

Toggle View Schema
- You are in the Details, Structure, Key Figures, or Used Objects view.
- Click in the view schema combobox to the top right of a view.
- Click on the desired view schema.
All view schemes for the selected view are shown.
This switches the view schema.
Alternative: Click on one of the icons right next to the combobox to activate the respective view schema.
The »Overview« view schema summarizes all available view schemes for the selected calculation or calculation element in groups. This schema is only available via the combobox.
»General Properties« group
The specific properties of the technical measures are listed below.
Responsible
Display and enter the person responsible for the measure.
Direct input is possible.
Implementation Time Horizon
Select a temporal horizon for implementing the measure.
Further Information ► Measure Type
Implementation Level
Select an implementation level for the measure.
Further Information ► Implementation Level
Effective from
Enter/Select a date as of which the measure is valid. As of this day, the measure value is included into the calculation.
Measure is Relevant
This checkbox indicates whether the measure is relevant for the measure evaluation scenario. For this purpose, the effective date of the measure must be within the production period (SoP and EoP) of the calculation.
Measure Value Material Net Quantity
The measure value defines which cost or time savings can be achieved with this measure. The value can have imputed impact on the material.
