Sort Columns

You can sort most columns in the various views in ascending or descending order. The columns you can sort are displayed with the symbol to the right of the column header.

If you click once on the icon to the right of the column header, the column is sorted in ascending order and the column sorting is activated (). Click twice to sort the column in descending order (). Click three times to reset and disable column sorting ().

Reset current column sorting

Sort column in ascending order

Select a cell of the column that you want to sort in ascending order.
In the ribbon, click on View ► Sort ► Ascending.
The column of the selected cell is sorted in ascending order.

Alternative:

In the column header, click on of the column that you want to sort in ascending order.
The ascending order is activated and the icon is displayed.

Sort column in descending order

Select a cell of the column that you want to sort in descending order.
In the ribbon, click on View ► Sort ► Descending.
The column of the selected cell is sorted in descending order.

Alternative:

In the column header, click on of the column that you want to sort in descending order.
The ascending order is activated and the icon is displayed.
In the column header, click again on of the column that you want to sort in descending order.
The descending order is activated and the icon is displayed.

Reset current column sorting

Select a cell of the column for which you want to reset the column sort order.
In the ribbon, click on View ► Sort ► Reset.
The column sorting of the selected cell is reset.

Alternative:

In the column header, click twice on of the column for which you want to reset the column sorting.
The column sorting of the selected cell is reset.
In the column header, click once on of the column for which you want to reset the column sorting.
The column sorting of the selected cell is reset.
