This is the default form type. The material quantity calculation calculates the relevant net quantity. Other information, such as density, net quantity, markup, loss quantity rate or share of recycling material, can be directly documented in FACTON.

The following example shows the use of a material quantity calculation:

Insert a Local Material (Mass)

  1. Select the should cost calculation in the Structure view.
  2. Click on Edit ► Insert ► Insert New Local Material (Mass).

    A local material is added under the should cost calculation.

  3. Define the following properties for the material in the Details view:

    Refund per Unit 15.00 EUR / kg

    Form type None
       
    Density 7.85 g / cm³
    Net Quantity 1.10 kg / pc

The following checkboxes enable you to activate or deactivate further details of the material calculation.

Cost Summary

The cost summary offers an overview on the cost breakdown and composition of the relevant material costs. The overview corresponds to the FACTON Costing Scheme.
