Move Elements up and down

You can change the position of the element in the selection list by moving them.

Move element in selection list up and down

  1. ClosedOpen the selection list in which you wish to move an element.

    Open Selection List

    • You are logged in as Master Data Administrator.
    • You are in the Master Data workspace.
    • In the Explorer ► Selection Lists, click on
    • Supplier,
    • Commodity Group,
    • Tool Classification,
    • Fixture Classification,
    • Business Unit,
    • Purpose,
    • Industrial Sector,
    • Location or
    • Labor Group.

    The Selection List : XXX tab opens.

  2. ClosedChange the position of the element in the selection list by moving them.

    Move Calculation ElementElement

    1. Select the calculation elementelement you wish to move to another position.
    2. In the ribbon Start ► Structure ► click on the button:
      1. Move Up to move the calculation elementelement up,

        or

      2. Move Down to move the calculation elementelement down.

    Alternative:

    • Right-click on element. Either select:
    1. Move Up to move the calculation elementelement up,

      or

    2. Move Down to move the calculation elementelement down.
    Tip

    Alternatively, use the keyboard shortcut: ALT + SHIFT + ↑ / ↓Closed
