Show object-dependent Value Rules

Object-dependent value rules are value rules that are managed directly on the global template of the master data. You can display the object-dependent value rules in four places:

  • Master Data workspace in Explorer ► Master Data ► <Master Data>
  • Calculations workspace in Explorer ► Master Data ► <Master Data>
  • Calculations workspace directly in the calculation via Edit ► Insert ► <Calculation element>
  • Calculations workspace directly in the calculation via Used Objects ► <Calculation element>

Machine
  • Share of Fixed Maintenance Cost on Purchase Value
  • Share of Variable Maintenance Cost on Purchase Value
  • Share of Insurance Cost on Purchase Value
  • Share of Operating Supplies Cost on Purchase Value
  • Purchase value
  • Installation Cost
  • Residual Value

Show object-dependent Value Rules

  • You are in the Master Data workspace or the Calculations workspace.
  1. Run a query for the global template you are interested in.Closed

    Run Query on Master Data

    1. In the Explorer ► Queries, click on button in front of SC master data.

      You can run queries for the following master data:

      • Company Own Machines
      • Company Own Materials
      • FACTON Content Machines
      • FACTON Content Materials
      • Commercial Measures
      • Fixtures
      • Manufacturing Cells
      • Special Direct Costs
      • Technical Measures
      • Tools
      • Work Steps
    2. Click on a master data whose global template you are looking for.

      A new »Query : <Master Data>« tab opens where you can set query parameters.

    3. Set any query parameters.
    4. Click the Run button to run the query.

      All elements found for the selected master data are displayed in the Result view.
  2. In the Result view, select the global template whose value rule you wish to show.
  3. Right-click on the selected global template ► Value Rules.

    A further context menu with a selection of the respective value rule tables opens.

  4. Click on your selection whose value rules you wish to display.

    A new tab with the value rule table for the selected property opens.
