Search and Open Global Template
You are able to search the Global Templates in three places using queries:
- Master Data workspace in Explorer ► Master Data ► <Master Data>
- Calculations workspace in Explorer ► Master Data ► <Master Data>
- Calculations workspace directly t in the calculation via Edit ► Insert ► <Calculation element>
Search Global Template
- You are logged in as Master Data Administrator.
- You are in the Master Data workspace.
Run Query on Master Data
- In the Explorer ► Queries, click on
button in front of SC master data.
You can run queries for the following master data:
- Company Own Machines
- Company Own Materials
- FACTON Content Machines
- FACTON Content Materials
- Commercial Measures
- Fixtures
- Manufacturing Cells
- Special Direct Costs
- Technical Measures
- Tools
- Work Steps
- Click on a master data whose global template you are looking for.
A new »Query : <Master Data>« tab opens where you can set query parameters.
- Set any query parameters.
- Click the
Run button to run the query.
All elements found for the selected master data are displayed in the Result view.
Open Global Templates
- Select the global template you wish to open from the results list.
- Right-click on the global template ► Open in New Tab.
The global template opens in a tab.
Alternative:
- Double-click in the very first empty field of the global template you wish to open.
The global template opens in a tab.
