Define Extension Point for Extensions

Extension points are placeholders within the user interface. They define the place where the corresponding extension will be displayed when running the FACTON CMD Test Client.

You can define your own extension points to be used by an extension. Depending on the condition at the extension point property, the extension is inserted exactly at the position of the extension point, like a plugin.

Define extension point

  1. Select the property group " TableModel".
  2. In the ribbon, click on Extension Point to insert an extension point.

    Alternative: Right-click in the Properties view > Extension Point.

  3. Define the details of the extension point in the Details view:
