Localize Cost Model Header and Properties

In the FACTON CMD, you can define the localizations for all defined properties and signatures to provide the calculator with properly localized names (in contrast to their internal names).

Localize signature for »en«

  1. Select »Localizations« in »My Local Configuration«.
  2. Click on »Signatures« to open the SignaturesLocalizations view.
  3. In the ribbon, click on DATA ► Synchronize Localizations.
  4. Filter the »Culture« column for »en«.
  5. Enter the localization value for »TableModel«, e.g. »Table Model«.

 

You can localize all properties in a large list.

Localize properties for all display names and »en«

  1. Select »Localizations« in »My Local Configuration«.
  2. Click on »Properties« to open the Properties Localizations view.
  3. In the ribbon, click on DATA ► Synchronize Localizations.
  4. Filter the »Culture« column for »en«.
  5. Filter the »Display Property« column for »DisplayName«.
  6. Enter the localization value for all properties as follows:

WARNING

The list of localized properties must be updated/synchronized when changes have been made (i.e. adding/removing properties or signatures).

To synchronize, select the corresponding node under Localizations in »My Local Configuration« and click on DATA ► Synchronize Localizations in the ribbon group »Localize«.

If you change the internal name of an already localized property/signature and synchronize, the localization value will be reset.
