"System Behavior" group

• "Shows changed master and dynamic data when opening a project" checkbox

  When this checkbox is activated, master data synchronization starts while opening a project, provided that master data has changed.

• "Shows a message dialog when switching to a less accurate calculation mode" checkbox

  When this checkbox is activated, a warning is displayed while changing to a less accurate calculation mode.

  Example

  Changing from "Offer" calculation mode to "Estimation" calculation mode .

• "Ask before saving a project" checkbox

  When this checkbox is activated, you will be asked whether you really want to save the project before it is saved.

• "Ask before moving elements in the Workspace Explorer" checkbox

  When this checkbox is activated, you will be asked whether you really want to move the element in the Workspace Explorer.

• "Shows a message dialog when closing the Project Cockpit with warnings" checkbox

  When closing the Project Cockpit, a notification appears indicating that there are still warnings due to missing information.

• "Standard behavior for assigned objects on manufacturing processes when inserting" combobox

  • Always insert

    When you select this option, the manufacturing processes are always inserted with the corresponding assignments from the Data Administration.

  • Always ask

    When you select this option, you will be asked each time you insert manufacturing processes whether you want to accept the assignments or not.

  • Never insert

    When you select this option, the manufacturing processes are always inserted without the corresponding assignments from the Data Administration.

"Menu - Properties" group

• "Number of recently opened projects" input field

  Enter the number of recently opened projects to be shown in the main menu "Projects". If more than 5 projects are to be displayed, and if more than 5 projects are available for selection, the menu item "More elements" will appear in the "Projects" menu. Click this menu item to open a dialog showing all projects available for selection.

"Configuration Project" group

• "Default column width in pixel" input field

  Enter the pixel width for the column in the configuration view. Enter "-1" into the field to automatically adjust the column width to the text length. If you manually adjust a column, you will be asked if you want to reset all saved column widths before saving.
