Deactivate a user

You can deactivate users to temporarily exclude them from the FACTON Client.

Deactivate a user

  1. Open the "User Administration" dialog.

  2. Select a user in the structure view.

  3. Click on Edit.

    The "Properties" group is available.

  4. Uncheck the "Active" checkbox.

  5.  Click Save.

    A dialog appears on deactivating the user and releasing the assigned licenses:

    • Confirming the dialog with No takes you back to editing the user properties where you can make further changes (or reset changes with Discard).

    • Confirming the dialog with Yes will deactivate the user: deactivated users are not available in both the License Assignment and the Login dialog. All licenses assigned to the user are automatically suspended.

Note

Deactivated users are listed in the User Administration node "Inactive users" where they can be reactivated or permanently deleted.
