Rights on System Functions

Licenses provide users with basic access to system features.

By default, each user has the right to use all the functions that are provided with the license class granted to this user. You can restrict a user group or user rights on certain license system functions in the Rights Administration.

Note

System functions restricted by a license cannot be made available by granting rights on system functions.

Examples of system functions are:

  • Open Data Administration
  • Run comparisons between projects
  • Administer rights
  • Administer users
  • Administer licenses
  • Administer FACTON settings
  • Versioning
  • Save projects
  • Synchronize databases
  • Update FACTON

 

Display rights on system functions

  1. In the ribbon, click on File > Settings > Rights .

    The "Rights Administration" dialog opens.

  2. Select a system function in the tree view on the right.

    3. The rights for the individual user/user group are shown in the table on the left.
