Unit System
FACTON supports the metric and the imperial unit system.
Values entered in FACTON are usually based on a dependency of one or several dimensions (unit classes). Each unit class has a basic unit. FACTON stores all values that are based on a function of a dimension using that dimension’s basic unit. This basic unit is always used as the basis for converting between the various units of measurement for that dimension. Every other unit of measurement in the dimension is converted using a factor of the basic unit.
